After a lot of work the Heroes of Eriador have finally downed the watcher! It was hard work but it paid off!
Congrats to Cannabrond and Filthypig that got their watcher pieces. Also another congrats to Leventino and Tarinya for getting 1st Age Captain Weapons!
Big thank you to Varzik who lead us through Vile Maw!
It was a great night for the HoEs and we hope to repeat it again on Thursday! So if you haven't signed up for Filikul and/or Vile Maw remember to do so!

Kinship Housing Reminder
A nice reminder to all kinmates that we do have a Kinship with chests full of goodies! Recruits are only allowed to go into the house and use the decorations. Members are able to go into the kinship chests and use whatever is in them. They can also deposit items in there that they think are useful. In order for us to keep an adequate supply of pots, food, scrolls, tokens, etc. in the chests we ask that members pay an OPTIONAL fee each week. You can view it here for the costs. You can also pay a lump sum if you wish. All gold and silver is sent to Celemir and that will go towards everything in the kinship house. It's very costly to keep items in there so we ask that people donate some money our way if they can. Remember this is completely optional for all members!

Raid Points Finalized
All members who attend Vile Maw, Filikul, and Dar Narbugud (or any future raids) will be awarded ONE point each time they attend (and we complete the instance) which goes towards a piece or Armour or item drop. Other rewards will be decided by the Raid Leader how it is to be distributed.
Specific items will have costs associated with them. They are located here. Items such as 1st Age Barter Coins and Armour Barter Coins.
You will need to have the amount of points (or more) specified to be eligable to roll for the item (exception if/when there are PUGs in the group. That will be addressed later). If you win the item then that cost will be deducted from your accumulated points.
Once you win an item you will not be able to win another item during the run. There will be special cases which will be handled on a case by case basis.
Set Armour Pieces Once the raid is completed the member(s) who are eligible to roll on the piece do so. In the case of two pieces the two highest rolls from the eligible members. Once the member(s) win an Armour piece the points amount of points for that item will be deducted from their accumlated points. Once you win this item you cannot roll for any 1st Age barter coins or any other drops.
1st Age Barter Coins Since the amount of barter coins that drops in each instance is random there are a few ways we are going to handle these.
If 4 coins drop then it will go to ONE person in the raid. Since it only takes 4 coins to get one level 59 weapon. The cost of this will be 6 POINTS (this reduced cost is just a bonus as this doesn't happen to often).
If 6 drop then it will cost 10 points for all of them.
If 3 or less drop then they will be handed out one by one and with a cost of 2 points each. You are only eligable to win one coin per run.
If 5 coins drop then 4 coins will go to one person and the other coin will go to another.
Non-Set Armour Pieces and Jewelery Anyone that has already won either a Legendary Weapon, Set Armour Piece, or 1st Age Barter coinc will not be eligible to roll on other non-set pieces or jewelery that drop. Everyone else is eligible to roll and win.
PUGS When we have non-kin members running with us we will be doing the rolling slighty different. This is to ensure we have the best chance of keeping the high end items in the kin and keeps it fair for the non-kin members.
When distributing the 1st Age Coins and Armour coins EVERYONE in the kinship WILL ROLL. Regardless if you have enough points or not. BUT if you win the roll and do not have enough points for the item you MUST ASSIGNthe coin/item to a member in the Kinship that does have enough points. This is decided by the member who won the roll. The member that had to ASSIGN the coin to someone else is STILL ELIGIBLE to roll on other items, but the member that got the coin/item is not.
This is done to have the max amount of Kinship members rolling on the item so the PUGS do not get a higher chance of winning. Thus putting us at a disadvantage.
NO members eligable to roll If for whatever reason there are NO members in the raid that have enough points to roll for the item then it will be appointed to the member with the highest amount of points and will cost them all their points. If there are 2 or more members with the same amount then it will go to a roll between those members.
If there are any questions or concerns please post them here

Raid Points
Starting on Thursday's Filikul raid, we will begin to use the raid points we have all began to accumulate, we have held off using the points so we could give everyone a chance to get some.
The price for each item can be found under the Item Prices link to the right of this page. How this is going to work, each item has a base price, again located in the prices link, if we have multiple people wanting said item, we there by turn it into an auction, going as high as it turns out to go.
The setting, runes, and flakes will be open rolls to those who did not win anything to keep everyone getting the chance for a item. This Thursdays raid is going to be a test run for or system so it may take a little longer than normal so bear with us

Raid Sign-Up
All members that attend our raids are required to sign up via the Events Calendar (link found at the top) in order to receive a raid point. If you do not sign up you can still come on the raid but you will not receive a raid point.
The reason we ask everyone to sign up is the raid leader knows who is showing up and know if we have to wait for someone or not. It makes everyone's jobs easier and faster. So please remember to sign up if you are able to attend.
If you CANNOT attend please indicate that if you can on the sign up sheet. Its not required but if you can that would be greatly appreciated!
See you all in game!

Vile Maw
On Friday the Heroes of Eriador and The Heartless banded together to take on the Watcher. Our raid leader was Varzik of HoE and did an excellent job leading everyone though the raid. Unfortunately we did not defeat the watcher. We came very close but not close enough.
Everyone did a great job and we will get him down next time! So please keep an eye out on for our next Watcher run.
